Vidarbha continues to reel under intense heat, Nagpur Records 44.4°C
Nagpur recorded a temperature of 44.4°C today. Across Vidarbha, Wardha and Akola emerged as the hottest at 46°C, followed by Amravati at 45.8°C and Bhrahmapuri at 44.6°C. The scorching heat and dry conditions made it difficult for people to venture outdoors in the afternoon. All the cities of vidarbha had temperatures over 40 °C or more, showing how hot it has become across the region.

People are advised to stay indoors during the hottest hours, drink plenty of water, and take care to protect themselves from the heat.
The citizens are bearing the brunt increasingly of the scorching heat and preferring to remain at cool places and take soft drinks, butter milk, juice, water melon etc to beat the heat.
With temperatures remaining above normal and dry weather persisting, Nagpur is expected to continue experiencing intense heat in the coming days.
