Yantra India Limited, Nagpur to Organised Defence Export Promotion Event

Under the directives of Department of Defence Production (DDP), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, Yantra India Limited, Nagpur has organised a Defence Export Promotion Event in hybrid mode on 12 August 2026 at the Headquarters of Yantra India Limited (YIL), Ambajhari, Nagpur.

The event brings together key stakeholders of India’s defence export ecosystem, including Defence Attachés, export representatives of all 16 Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), customers of Yantra India Limited and channel partners.

The event provided a common platform for interaction with defence export stakeholders, identification and resolution of operational issues, and sharing of best practices to further strengthen India’s defence export ecosystem. The focus was also on intra-DPSU collaboration and synergy to enhance export opportunities, develop integrated solutions and expand India’s footprint in international defence markets.

In order to facilitate and promote defence exports, the Department of Defence Production has introduced the Export Ease Policy, aimed at simplifying and streamlining the defence export process. Under the initiative, a Single Window System has been made functional to facilitate various approvals and permissions required for defence exports.

The event expected to further strengthen coordination among defence industry stakeholders and contribute towards the Government’s vision of enhancing defence exports, promoting indigenous defence manufacturing and establishing India as a reliable global supplier of defence equipment and systems.
