Petrol Pump Employee Stabbed in Kelwad, Three Nagpur Accused Arrested
A petrol pump employee was seriously injured after being attacked with a knife during a dispute near Kabir Petrol Pump under the jurisdiction of Kelwad Police Station on Friday night. The entire incident was reportedly captured on CCTV cameras installed at the spot.
According to preliminary information, the attack took place following an argument in the Parsodi Shivar area. During the confrontation, the accused allegedly assaulted the employee with a sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured. Locals immediately rushed to help and informed the police.
The injured employee was initially provided medical assistance before being referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Nagpur for advanced treatment. His condition is said to be under medical observation.
Acting swiftly, the Maharashtra Police team from Kelwad Police Station launched a “filmy style” operation and successfully detained three accused persons, all reportedly residents of Nagpur. Police teams tracked down the suspects shortly after the incident and took them into custody for further investigation.
The CCTV footage of the attack is expected to play a crucial role in the investigation. Police are probing the exact motive behind the assault and whether the accused were involved in any previous criminal activities.
