NTPC Ramagundam promotes cleanliness through Nukkad Natak event

Spreading the message of ‘Clean and Green India’ through the medium of art, the NTPC Ramagundam on Friday organised ‘Swachhata Pakhwada Nukkad Natak’ at Ramagundam Railway Station in Peddapalli district.

The event was organised in collaboration with the South Central Railway (SCR) as part of the ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ celebrations.

The awareness programme was organised under the NTPC’s Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) initiative to promote cleanliness, hygiene and civic responsibility among the public.

NTPC executive director (R&T) Chandan Kumar Samanta was the chief guest, a press release said.

The GEM volunteers sensitised the public on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public places and inspired citizens to contribute towards the ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ through impactful performances and social messages.
