MPSC Schedules Interviews Without Declaring Exam Results, Candidates Left in the Dark
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced interview dates for posts under Notification No. 830/2022 — including Senior Assistant Director, District Information Officer and Public Relations Officer — without first declaring the written examination results, leaving candidates in confusion and distress.
Interviews are scheduled for June 25 and July 16, 2026, but the exam result and interview venue have not been published. Candidates who travelled from Mumbai to attend interviews were reportedly turned away without any information.
MPSC has not communicated the schedule through e-mail to candidates, and senior officials including the Senior Director, Deputy Director and PRO (Gate 3) did not respond to queries sent on August 26 and June 19.
Candidates have raised multiple concerns: the result has not been declared despite the exam having been conducted; no venue has been notified; Mumbai candidates face uncertainty about railway reservations; and no official communication has been sent through formal channels.
They are demanding that MPSC immediately declare the written exam results, notify the interview schedule with venue details, and provide clarity on travel arrangements for outstation candidates. MPSC’s response to queries remained awaited at the time of publication.
