Masked Arsonist Caught On CCTV After Car Set Ablaze In Trimurti Nagar | Nagpur News
Nagpur: An unidentified person allegedly set a car on fire at Waghmare Layout in Indraprastha Nagar late Friday night.According to police, resident Saket Dahiwade had parked his car outside his house after returning from Ajni with his sister around 8pm.Around 1.30am, neighbours noticed the vehicle engulfed in flames and alerted the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s control room. Firefighters from the Trimurti Nagar Fire Station rushed to the spot and doused the blaze, but the car was destroyed.CCTV footage captured a masked man sprinkling an inflammable liquid on the parked vehicle before setting it on fire and fleeing.Based on the footage, Pratap Nagar police registered a case against an unidentified accused and launched an investigation to trace him.
