35-year-old woman found dead with throat slit at Medchal | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old woman was found murdered under suspicious circumstances near the Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple in Medchal on Sunday morning. According to police, the victim was identified as Sujatha, a native of Nizamabad town.She had arrived in Hyderabad around 10 days ago along with four others from the same area in search of work. They stayed in Medchal and earned their livelihood as daily wage labourers. Sujatha had rented a single room in the locality and was living alone.On Sunday morning, locals noticed that the door of her room was open. When they called out to her and received no response, they went inside and found her lying in a pool of blood. Her throat was slit with a knife, indicating a brutal murder.Police said the other individuals who had come from Nizamabad and were staying in the same area in different houses were being questioned as part of the investigation. Police were also trying to gather more details about Sujatha and the circumstances leading to her death. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
