Nidhi to lead Nagpur football team

lead the Nagpur district team in
the MaharashtraState (WIFA)
Inter-District Football
Championship for Senior
Women to be held at Jalgaon
from August 21-26, states a
Nagpur District Football
Association press release.
To haveafair selection
process,NDFAroped in the trio
of Annie Paul Shino,Roshni
Khobragade and Munmun
Yadav as selectors to pick the
district team. Nidhi will lead a
team of 20 players that has two
goalkeepers.
NDFAstatedthat theselectors closely assessedthe participating players on various
aspects of the game,including
technical skills,physical fitness,
tactical understanding,teamwork, discipline and overall
performance.The selection
committee ensured afair,
transparent, and impartial
selection process,providing
everyparticipating player with
an equal opportunity to showcase her talent.

Nagpur women will take on
Kolhapur in their opening
match of Group D on August 22.
Other teams in the group are
Gondia, Buldhana, Pune and
Sangli.
