Three Drown in Yavatmal’s Takli Lake | Nagpur News

Yavatmal: Three youths drowned in Takli Lake in Yavatmal taluka on Monday evening. Teams from the District Disaster Management Department and Yavatmal Rural Police launched a search operation and recovered the bodies of all three youths.The deceased have been identified as Piyush Yadav, Prathamesh Yadav and Prasad Satpute, all residents of Yavatmal. According to preliminary information, a group of eight friends had gone to Takli Lake area for a picnic. Some of the youths entered the lake for a swim and three drowned. The incident comes just two days after two female students drowned while visiting the Borgaon dam area.
