IIA Nagpur Centre conducts Ar. Agshikar’s session

 The IIA Nagpur Centre conducted an audio-visual presentation on “ARCHITECTURE – a learning process” by Ar. Sachin Agshikar, a gold medalist from Sir J J College of Architecture. The event was organised by the Executive Committee of IIA, Nagpur Centre at Grand Millenium Hall, Hotel Centre Point, Nagpur on Friday. He showcased some of his prestigious projects which had a spectacular “Correa” touch and exuded philosophies of “contextual modernism”.

Through his presentation he inspired one and all to preserve Indian cultural heritage and create meaningful human spaces.
Ar. Agshikar spent 8 years working alongside the legendary Ar. Charles Correa and continued working as his associate for project in India and abroad. From state-of-the-art medical institutions in Europe to naturally ventilated schools and residences across India, his designs follow a very modest design philosophy and emphasizes on simplicity and warmth. Ar. Aniket Khodwe, Vice Chairman IIA Nagpur Centre, Ar. Parikshit Choudhari Ho. Secretary IIA Nagpur Centre, Ar. Rajesh Kakde, Treasurer IIA Nagpur Centre and Altaf Shah, Sr. Regional Manager, Shubham Mishra, Assistant Manager, Birla White graced the occasion.
