Heavy rainfall forecast in eight Telangana districts on June 24

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning for eight Telangana districts for Wednesday (June 24, 2026).

Eight districts under heavy rainfall alert

According to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli and Mahabubabad districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts of the State.

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33℃ and 24℃ respectively,” as per the bulletin.
