Goa Travel Gets Easier: Union Minister Gadkari Flags Off Nagpur-Madgaon Special Train
Nagpur: Nitin Gadkari flagged off the new Nagpur–Madgaon special train from Platform No. 8 at Nagpur Railway Station, bringing major relief for passengers travelling between Vidarbha and Goa.
The launch ceremony witnessed the presence of railway officials, public representatives, and citizens. Excitement was seen among passengers as the special train departed amid celebrations and cheers.
Speaking at the event, Gadkari said the new railway service would make travel between Vidarbha and Goa more convenient and comfortable. He added that tourists, business travellers, and families visiting Goa would benefit greatly from the direct connectivity.
According to railway officials, the Nagpur–Madgaon special train will operate twice a week, offering a much-needed direct travel option for passengers heading to Goa from Nagpur and nearby regions.
