Demand for Family Register Certificate, income certificate drive MeeSeva’s daily transactions over 2 lakh

The demand for Telangana government’s Family Register Certificate, Income Certificate and Transport department services increased MeeSeva’s daily transactions by three fold. Usually, it registers 70,000 to 80,000 transactions in a day. However, 2,20,172 transactions were recorded on Friday.

Of this, over 67,500 transactions were for the Family Register Certificate and nearly 15,000 for income certificate. The State government has recently launched Family Card Certificate, which can be applied for through MeeSeva. Besides, the applications for Indiramma Indlu (Houses) in Hyderabad (CURE) are accepted through its website, Whatsapp number (80969 58096) or its centres.

IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu said that continuous expansion of services, technological upgrades, improved system performance, and the integration of new citizen services have contributed to the achievement of recording a record daily transactions.

Services of various departments including Revenue, Road Transport Authority (RTA), Electricity, Police, Agriculture can be accessed through MeeSeva’s website. Other citizen services provided includes Caste and Residence Certificates, registrations, government and utility payments, and other departmental services through its centres and digital platforms.
