Bogus doctors held in Mumbai: Mumbai Crime Branch raids five clinics in parts of city, nab bogus doctors treating patients

The Mumbai Crime Branch, along with medical officers from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), has nabbed five men for allegedly practising medicine without the required qualifications and licences, officials said on Friday.

According to the police, Mumbai Crime Branch’s Units 6 and 8 conducted raids at five clinics in Mumbai. Four of the clinics were located in the Zakir Hussain Nagar-Deonar area, while the fifth was in Naupada-Bandra East.
