Competition for ITI admissions expected to increase

With skill-based education offering quicker employment opportunities, students’ interest in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) has grown significantly over the past few years.

As a result, competition for ITI admissions among students has become more intense.

Every year, the number of applications received in Nagpur district is nearly four to five times higher than the seats available in ITIs. This year, the online admission process started on May 21.

There are 16 government ITI institutes in the district with a total intake capacity of 3,640 seats.

The Government Industrial Training Institute at Parseoni is reserved exclusively for tribal students.
