Goa travel eases as New Nagpur–Madgaon special train flagged off by Nitin Gadkari
Nitin Gadkari flagged off the new Nagpur–Madgaon special train from Platform No. 8 at Nagpur Railway Station, providing major relief to passengers travelling between Vidarbha and Goa.
The launch event was attended by railway officials, public representatives and local citizens. Passengers were seen celebrating as the special train departed amid cheers and enthusiasm.
Addressing the gathering, Nitin Gadkari said the new rail service would make travel between Vidarbha and Goa easier, smoother and more comfortable. He noted that tourists, business travellers and families visiting Goa would significantly benefit from the direct train connectivity.
Railway officials said the Nagpur–Madgaon special train will run twice a week, offering a much-needed direct travel option for passengers travelling from Nagpur and nearby regions to Goa.
