‘Mango and Millet Festival’ inaugurated


Like the last two years, this year too, the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board, Nagpur Office has organized the Mango and Millet Festival 2026 from May 15 to 18. This festival has been organized at Kusumtai Wankhede Bhavan, North Ambazari Road.

This festival has been organized under the concept of Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board Chairman and Marketing and Protocol Minister Jayakumar Rawal and under the guidance of Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board Executive Director Sanjay Kadam and General Manager Vinayak Kokare. The main objective of this festival is to strengthen the direct sales chain from farmer to consumer and to provide genuine Hapus mango to the consumers. The festival will feature around 20 stalls of various quality Hapus from Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Raigad districts as well as Keshar mango producers from Rajapuri and other parts of the state, as well as 25 stalls on nutritious millets.

Today, on the first day of the inauguration, there has been a spontaneous response from Nagpur consumers. Citizens are present in large numbers to purchase Hapus, Rajapuri mango and various millet products. This festival will continue for the next three days and Nagpur residents should take advantage of this festival and purchase Hapus, Rajapuri mango and millet products, said Rajesh Sarode, Deputy General Manager, Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board Divisional Office, Nagpur.
