Unidentified Man Found Dead Near Umred Road Flyover in Wathoda Area
Nagpur: An unidentified man, approximately 40 years old, was found unconscious under a flyover within the limits of Wathoda Police Station and was later declared dead at a hospital.
The incident came to light on April 11, 2026, around 9:00 am, near the new flyover on Umred Road in the Dighori (old settlement area) of Nagpur. Police personnel immediately rushed the man to Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur, where doctors declared him brought dead.
According to police, the deceased had a fair complexion, slim build, and a height of approximately 5 feet 5 inches. He had black hair and a grown beard, and was wearing a yellow shirt and brown pants at the time of discovery. He was also wearing a steel bracelet and multicolored friendship bands on his right wrist.
Police have registered a case of accidental death based on medical opinion. Authorities have appealed to citizens to come forward with any information that may help identify the deceased.
Further investigation is ongoing.
