78.3% voters enrolled in Telangana SIR; draft rolls to be published on August 17

All the uncollectable entries during the Special Intensive Revision in Telangana, will be removed from the draft rolls set to be published on August 17.

A 78.3% of the voters existing in the current voters’ list have enrolled themselves during the Special Intensive Revision of the Electoral Rolls in Telangana, the Enumeration phase of which concluded on August 10, 2026 at midnight.
As per the numbers shared by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, against the electorate of 3,38,26,448, a total 2,64,86,214 electors filled the enumeration forms either online or physically.
73.39 lakh in ‘Uncollectable’ category
Permanently shifted residents, at 45,18, 961, constituted a huge portion of the remaining 73,39,274 that have been categorised as Uncollectable.
A total 9,22,230 electors are classified as dead, while 11,25,546 are marked as absent/ untraceable.
The ‘Uncollectable forms’ category also includes 6,70,203 voters who had already enrolled themselves, and 1,02,294 categorised as ‘others’.
All the uncollectable entries will be removed from the draft rolls set to be published on August 17.
Electors will be given an opportunity to apply for fresh enrolment through Form 6, for their names to be included in final rolls to be published on October 19, 2026.
