Nagpur Police Health Mission Begins, 90+ Personnel Screened at Lakadganj Police Station

Nagpur: The first phase of the ‘Nagpur Police Health Mission’ concluded successfully with a mega free health check-up camp organised at Lakadganj Police Station, benefiting more than 90 police officers and personnel.

The camp offered free blood sugar, haemoglobin, and general health screenings, aiming to promote preventive healthcare and improve the well-being of police personnel serving in the city.

The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 3) Rahul Madane, along with Senior Police Inspectors from various police stations under Zone 3.

The initiative was jointly organised by the Bhongle Charitable Foundation (BCF), IFPWD, Six Sigma, and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Nagpur.

Among those present were Dr. Shaligram Bhongle, President of Bhongle Charitable Foundation; Dr. Priti Bhongle, Treasurer; Yash Bhongle, Secretary; Dr. Suyash, State Co-Convenor of IMA JDN; Dr. Balajit, State Joint Secretary of IMA JDN; Dr. Chinmay, Chairman of IMA JDN Nagpur; Dr. Lokesh, General Secretary of IMA JDN; and Vivek from Meethas Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.

The organisers appreciated the support of Senior Police Inspector Mukund Kawade and the entire Lakadganj Police Station staff, whose coordination and planning ensured the successful execution of the health camp.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to promote preventive healthcare among police personnel, with similar health camps expected to be organised at other police establishments in Nagpur.
