Burglars Break Into Nagpur Mobile Shop, Steal 16 Smartphones

Nagpur: A mobile phone shop in Nagpur’s MIDC police station limits was targeted by unidentified burglars, who allegedly removed the shop’s iron shutter and escaped with 16 smartphones belonging to different brands.

According to police, the burglary took place at Shri Shyam Mobile Store near the Bhim Nagar water tank on Isasani Road between 11 pm on July 25 and 8 am on July 26.

The theft came to light when the shop owner noticed the damaged shutter the following morning. Inside the store, mobile phone boxes were found scattered, and an inspection revealed that 16 smartphones had been stolen.

Based on the complaint, MIDC Police have registered a case against unknown persons and launched an investigation. Officers are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the suspects and trace their movements.
