Telangana Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said that people can clear doubts and get information about various aspects of Indiramma Houses to be constructed in Hyderabad (CURE) limits by calling the helpline number 040-24603572 . Eligibility criteria, application procedure, documents needed, payments for the houses, allotment procedure and other details can be sought by calling the number. The information would be provided in Telugu, Urdu, Hindi and English languages.
The government launched the housing scheme in the city limits a few days ago and invited applications from people. Of the one lakh houses aimed to be built in the CURE limits, 7,680 flats would be constructed in housing towers in 16 Assembly constituencies. Each flat with a built up area of 528 square feet will have a bedroom, kitchen and hall. While the government would provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh, beneficiaries have to pay ₹6 lakh.
Besides the application fee of ₹100, people have to pay ₹10,000 earnest money deposit (EMD) while submitting the application. People can submit the application through MeeSeva centres, its portal or its WhatsApp number 8096958096.
Mr. Reddy said that the EMD has to be paid UPI or net banking. It would be refunded if an applicant is not selected in lottery. The Housing Minister suggested people to secure MeeSeva receipt, payment receipt, application number and keep the mobile number – mentioned in the application – active.
