Man possessing 2.69 kg ganja held in Dhantoli

The Crime Branch Unit 2 of Nagpur City Police apprehended an accused with 2.69 kg of marijuana (ganja) from Dhantoli Police Station area on Wednesday.
According to information, the Unit 2 team raided Sontakke’s house in Saraswati Nagar, Takia, Dhantoli area and apprehended the tenant identified as Asif Arif Khan (32).

During investigation, the team found 2.69 kg of marijuana packed in a green bag from Khan’s house.
The police seized the marijuana, a weighing machine, plastic pouch sealing machine and a mobile phone collectively worth Rs 56,380 from Khan’s possession.
During interrogation, Khan revealed that he got ganja from Sailesh Sontakke (30). The accused got this consignment for financial gains. The Crime Branch handed over the accused and the seized material to Dhantoli Police.
