UBT invites CM Devendra Fadnavis for Ram Raksha Andolan, even RSS top honchos to be invited | Nagpur News

Nagpur: Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has formally invited chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to the July 18 Ram Raksha programme in Nagpur, in a letter dated Wednesday. The letter reminds Fadnavis of his own accounts of taking part in the 1992 Ram Janmabhoomi movement in Ayodhya, and notes that the RSS itself had expressed grief over the alleged theft at the Ayodhya temple, before requesting him to attend the Ramnagar event in Uddhav Thackeray’s presence and extend his wishes to Ram devotees.Raut has separately said invitations are also going out to senior RSS office-bearers and various Hindutva organisations in Nagpur, saying it is UBT’s duty to invite every Ram devotee regardless of party, though attending remains their choice.
