4-year-old dies after parapet wall crash at construction site | Nagpur News

Nagpur: A four-year-old boy died after a parapet wall of an under-construction building collapsed on him in Bhagirathi Park area on Hingna Road during pre-monsoon rain and strong winds on Friday afternoon. As per the police, the incident occurred around 2.30pm when the deceased, Daivik Channe, a resident of Bhagirathi Park, Hingna Road, was at the construction site of the complainant’s uncle. Daivik suffered severe head injuries and was rushed to Lata Mangeshkar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday at 12.15pm, according to doctors. An accidental death case was registered at MIDC police station. Police initiated investigation into the matter, focusing on the structural safety of the under-construction building.
