Nagpur’s Samiksha Singh storms into final

Nagpur: Samiksha Singh of Nagpur, along with seven others stormed into the final of the Under-17 National Boxing Championships for Boys and Girls underway on MLA Hostel premises in Nagpur on Friday. Southpaw Samiksha threw beautiful punches and dodged a couple of blows to defeat Himachal Pradesh’s Harshita 5-0 via a unanimous decision in her feather weight (57kg) bout.

Samiksha will face Services Sports Control Board’s Navya in the summit clash on Sunday. Navya overcame the challenge from Sakshi of Rajasthan 5-0.
