Nagpur Station Platform 2 Shut Till May 29, Trains to Face Delays & Diversions

Nagpur: Platform No. 2 at Nagpur railway station will remain closed from April 8 to May 29 for foundation work related to a new concourse under the station redevelopment project led by the Rail Land Development Authority.

As per Central Railway officials, the work is aligned with a scheduled non-interlocking block at Gondia railway station.

No train cancellations have been announced, but services will be impacted due to reduced platform availability. One train will be short-terminated and another short-originated at Amla railway station, while six trains will be diverted to ease congestion.

Additionally, at least six trains are expected to face delays ranging from 10 minutes to over two hours. Temporary overhead equipment (OHE) and traffic blocks will also be carried out on Platform 3 for a few days, though officials say this will not significantly affect operations.
