Nagpur Murder Case Solved: Engineering Students Killed Man to Steal Car, Three Arrested

Nagpur: In a shocking breakthrough, police have solved the Wadi murder case within just 12 hours, arresting three B.Tech students involved in the crime. The accused allegedly murdered a man with the intention of stealing his car, sending shockwaves across the city.

The case initially appeared to be a “blind murder” after a partially unclothed body was found near the Lava cremation ground area on Khadgaon Road. The deceased was later identified as Suchit Bhojapure.

Police have arrested three accused — Aryan Shende, Rishank Kamble, and Anuj Waghmare — all engineering students from a reputed college in the Nandanvan area.

According to the investigation, the accused were passing through Pardi when they noticed a man sitting in a car near the Vardhaman Nagar flyover in an intoxicated state. After initiating a conversation, the man allowed them to accompany him. During the journey, he requested to be dropped at his home in Wadi.

The accused even contacted the man’s family, but upon reaching his residence, they found the door locked. They then drove him towards an isolated area, where they decided to rob him. On Khadgaon Road, they stopped the car and attacked him with a stone, leading to his death.

After the murder, the accused disposed of the body in nearby bushes and fled with the victim’s car and two mobile phones.

Following the discovery of the body, the crime branch launched a swift investigation. Using CCTV footage and technical evidence, police tracked down and arrested the accused within hours.

The quick action by the police led to the rapid solving of the case, and further investigation is currently underway.
