Authorities have found that several personnel appointed as enumerators and supervisors across all ten zones of the city have not yet reported for duty. Additionally, a serious lack of cooperation has been observed from certain schools, colleges, and government as well as semi-government institutions.

According to the NMC’s General Administration Department, multiple institutions have refused to accept appointment orders for enumerators and supervisors. In some cases, incomplete or inaccurate staff data has been submitted, with institutions reporting fewer employees than actual.

Several institutions, including Bhavans, Civil Lines establishments, Bharatiya Krushi Vidya Vihar, Telangkhedi, Madan Gopal Agrawal institutions, Sitabuldi and Center Point areas, and Seminary Hills, are yet to submit their staff details.

In response, the Municipal Commissioner has issued strict directives to Assistant Commissioners across all zones. The administration has made it clear that criminal cases will be registered against enumerators and supervisors who fail to comply with government orders related to Census 2027.

Furthermore, heads of all concerned schools, colleges, and government and semi-government offices have been instructed to immediately comply with the directives. Failure to do so will invite strict action as per rules, the civic body warned.
