Habitual offender held in Madhapur, 31 commercial gas cylinders worth ₹1.5 lakh recovered

A 24-year-old habitual offender involved in a string of thefts across multiple police station limits was arrested by Madhapur police on Wednesday, leading to the recovery of 31 commercial gas cylinders valued at around ₹1.5 lakh.

The accused, identified as Sandeep Kumar Reddy, a food delivery worker from Bachupally, allegedly targeted restaurants and hostels during night hours. Police said he was addicted to online betting and resorted to theft to fund his activities, subsequently disposing of stolen property to finance his gambling.
