Nagpur Shocked: 20-Year-Old Stabbed to Death Near Law College Square After Minor Road Rage Dispute
Nagpur: A shocking murder incident triggered panic in the city after a 20-year-old youth was allegedly stabbed to death following a minor road rage altercation in the Ambazari police station limits during the early hours of Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Tushar Sudhir Chute (20), a resident of Vaishnav Sai Apartment in Smruti Nagar, Hudkeshwar. A complaint in the matter was lodged by his father, Sudhir Jagdish Chute (50), with Ambazari Police.
According to police sources, the incident took place between 2 am and 2:30 am on May 11 near The Sleep Company showroom, between Cafe House Square and Law College Square.
Tushar was reportedly travelling with two friends when they got into a minor argument with two youths riding a white Activa scooter. The verbal spat soon escalated into a violent confrontation.
Police said the accused abused and assaulted Tushar before the pillion rider allegedly attacked him with a sharp knife. Tushar sustained serious injuries in the attack.
He was immediately rushed to Mayo Hospital for treatment, where doctors later declared him dead.
Ambazari Police have registered a case of murder and assault against two unidentified accused under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Maharashtra Police Act.
PSI Nandkishor Padkonde has registered the offence, and multiple police teams have been deployed to trace the accused. Further investigation is underway.
