Chief Secretary to Chair newly acquired L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad to run HMR phase one

Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao will head the newly-acquired L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRH) as its Chairman. He will be supported by a nine-member Board of Directors that includes Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and Director General of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy, according to official orders issued on Saturday.

The other directors on the board are Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) Managing Director Sarfaraz Ahmad, who also serves as Commissioner of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA); Special Chief Secretary (Transport) Vikas Raj; Principal Finance Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania; Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Managing Director K. Ashok Reddy; Chairman and Managing Director of TGSPDCL Jitesh V. Patil; and HMR Joint Managing Director Shivendra Pratap.
