Nagpur University Announces Delayed Summer Exam Dates, Starts April 15

Nagpur: Nagpur University has released its revised academic calendar, bringing long-awaited clarity on the delayed summer examinations. As per the updated schedule issued on April 1, the exams will begin from April 15 with a staggered timeline for different student categories.

According to the revised plan, failure students of odd semesters and those following the annual pattern will appear for exams starting April 15. Meanwhile, regular students and failure candidates of even semesters will begin their examinations from May 2.

The university has also detailed the schedule for submission of examination forms. The process started on March 23 for all categories, including regular students of even semesters, old ex-students, and those under the annual pattern. The last date for form submission is April 4 for old ex-students and annual pattern candidates, while regular students of even semesters have time until April 10. Students whose Winter 2025 results are still pending will be allowed to submit their forms within seven days of the result declaration.

While the announcement has clarified exam timelines, concerns remain among faculty members from affiliated colleges. A major issue highlighted is that the detailed timetable for the exams has not yet been released. Additionally, a significant number of Winter 2025 results are still pending, creating confusion for students who are unsure about the subjects they need to register for.

The revised academic calendar also confirms that the second term will conclude on April 30, followed by summer vacation from May 1 to June 15.

Despite the schedule being announced, delays in results and lack of a detailed timetable continue to pose challenges for students and institutions alike.
