GHMC orders closure of slaughterhouses, meat shops on March 31 for Mahavir Jayanti

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has ordered the closure of all cattle and sheep and goat slaughterhouses, along with retail meat and beef shops, within its limits on Tuesday in view of Mahavir Jayanti.

The directive was issued by the GHMC Commissioner in an official communication addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City.
