Mumbai: BEST approves induction of 1,500 AC electric midi buses under PM E-Drive scheme

BEST Committee has approved the induction of 1,500 AC electric midi buses under the PM E-Drive Scheme to improve last-mile connectivity and expand Mumbai’s electric public transport network. The buses, to be introduced in phases by 2027, will feature wheelchair access, LFP batteries and advanced safety systems
