The Cyberabad police have imposed prohibitory orders around all National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 examination centres within the commissionerate limits on June 21 to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the examination.

In a notification issued on Friday (June 19), Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh invoked Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and prohibited the assembly of five or more persons within a 200-metre radius of all NEET examination centres.
The police have also directed that all photocopy (Xerox) and internet centres located within a 100-metre radius of the examination venues remain closed during the examination period.
The restrictions will be in force from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 21 at all NEET-UG 2026 examination centres falling under the commissionerate.
Police officers, military personnel and Home Guards on duty, flying squads of the Education Department and funeral processions have been exempted from the prohibitory orders.
The order has been issued to maintain public order and tranquillity, prevent disturbances and avoid any obstruction to the conduct of the examination.
The police warned that anyone found violating the restrictions would be liable for prosecution under the relevant provisions of law.
