Nagpur-Pune and Pune- Nagpur Express Cancelled Due to Engineering Block in Pune Yard
Central Railway’s Pune Division will undertake a major engineering and signalling work for the replacement of DDS Point No. 208/209 in the existing track layout at Pune Yard on the Pune- Daund section. To facilitate this critical infrastructure work, a traffic and power block of nine hours will be imposed from 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
During the block period, train movements from the CSMT end on Platforms 3 and 4 at Pune station will remain affected. Consequently, certain train services have been cancelled.
Accordingly, Train No. 12136 Nagpur–Pune Express scheduled to commence its journey on June 13, 2026, will remain cancelled. Similarly, Train No. 12135 Pune–Nagpur Express scheduled to commence its journey on June 14, 2026, will also remain cancelled.
The block is being undertaken as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen railway infrastructure and enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of train operations in the Pune Yard area.
Passengers are advised to check the latest status of their trains before commencing their journey. Central Railway regrets the inconvenience caused and seeks the cooperation of passengers.
