Police seize flavoured tobacco in Hinganghat | Nagpur News
Wardha: A large stock of flavoured tobacco was seized during a police raid in Yashwant Nagar of Hinganghat city. The action was carried out by a team under SDPO SK Nayak. Acting on a tip, the team searched the premises and recovered a substantial quantity of flavoured tobacco.During the operation, accused Vitthal Khandare fled from the spot. Police seized flavoured tobacco worth approximately 3.5 lakh. A SUV allegedly used for transporting the tobacco was also seized during the operation. Police said the total value of the seized property is approximately 9 lakh. The seized tobacco and related material have been handed over to the FDA for further action. Further investigation is underway.
